Vintage King ZIG-WAG Heddon BLUE PEARL SHORE !!! 6″ Wood Lure 8360 Glass Eyes RARE! What a cool lure! This King Zig-Wag is an early Heddon with the red block letter name stamp on chin. My best guess is that this is a 1939 Model #8360 in a Blue Pearl Shore pattern. It has blue eye shadow around large bulging reddish brown glass eyes and a faint, but there, Wonderbread, yellow, pink and blue dot, paint color scheme. The pink, yellow and blue dots are light. It has silver ribs on each side and the base paint color is pearlescent. This lure measures approximately 6″ long. It has been fished and has some chipping paint and some teeth marks, the paint has crazing, the hardware has tarnish and the hooks have rust. It is missing the tack at the tail end that would have held the plastic tail piece. It also has a tiny chip/crack in one of the eyes. Despite its flaws this is still a cool lure that looks great on display. I believe this to be a very rare tough color to find, I am not able to find it pictured, even in very detailed Zig-Wag color catalogs.
