The Walkman with integrated headphones features a neckband shape that securely attaches the main unit to the head for a comfortable fit, even underwater.

In addition, the part of the body that rests on the ear has been made seamless and round for a better fit, comfort, and stability when worn. Since they are held firmly in place, you can use them during various sports such as running and swimming without worrying about them slipping out or coming off. 

The headphones are equipped with an “external sound capturing function (*)” that makes it easier to hear surrounding sounds and people’s voices. The built-in microphones in the left and right headphones capture ambient sounds and human voices, and mix them with the music you are listening to on your Walkman. This is useful for concentrating on sports such as running while paying attention to what’s going on around you, and also for communicating with the people around you.

 * The external sound capturing function makes it easier to hear the surrounding sounds, but it does not make all sounds audible. When the music volume is turned up loudly or depending on the surrounding conditions, you may not be able to hear the outside sound. It also supports quick recharging, which is convenient when you want to take it out for a quick run, so you can play for about 60 minutes (*2) on a 3-minute charge.

This product can be used in swimming pools with a depth of up to 2 meters. Please follow the rules of the facility where you use it.

JIS waterproof rating IPX8/5: Under our test conditions, it has been confirmed that the product will not malfunction after being submerged for 30 minutes at a depth of 2 m with the swimmer’s earpiece attached. IP6X (dust ingress protection): IP6X (dust outgress protection) IP6X (dust ingress protection): With the earpiece for swimming attached, the Walkman is placed in a device containing dust with a diameter of 75 μm or less for 8 hours to agitate it, and when it is removed from the device, it has been confirmed that the Walkman will not be infiltrated with dust. Waterproof liquids include fresh water, tap water, sweat, pool water, and seawater. If other liquids (soapy water, water containing detergent or bath salts, shampoo, hot spring water, etc.) are splashed on the product, immediately rinse it with fresh water and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. The product cannot be used in a sauna because it is outside the usable temperature range.
