Following on from ITGs highly successful offering for the Hyundai i30N, ITG are pleased to announce the launch of our new cold air induction system for the Hyundai i20N. The i20 N is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged GDi engine with six-speed manual transmission (6MT) that boasts a max power of 204ps. This kit includes ITGs silicone intake hose upgrade, which smooths & accelerates airflow through the inlet tract into the turbocharger. Their Silicone Hose has been optimised for use with the ITG Induction System, but also fits onto the standard airbox. By upgrading to the ITG hose, a notable increase in intake noise is also found as unlike the OE hose the ITG part does not feature a restrictive noise silencer chamber This listing is for ITGs trusted TriFoam Maxogen filter to replace your restrictive standard airbox design. Their drop-in design means upgrading an ITG filter to your vehicle is a quick and easy installation process. The Tri-Foam System Why foam? Because, compared to paper or other filter technologies, reticulated polyester foam achieves optimum performance against three key criteria: Maximum Air Flow The ability to allow air to pass through without causing a large drop in pressure. Cleaning Efficiency The capability to arrest a high proportion of airborne dust while feeding the engine clean air. Dust Load-up Tolerance The capability to absorb a large amount of dust without reducing air flow capacity. The Profilter utilizes the same three layer reticulated polyester trifoam system used on the MAXOGEN air filters. The three layers of foam selected for the Profilter combined with the arresting stickiness of the filter oil, give a high level of filtration to protect the engine from all the damaging particles in the ambient air stream. Unlike some of the competition, ITG filters have a massive dust load-up tolerance, which is the ability to absorb a large amount of dust without reducing air flow capacity.
