Comic characters, captions and other detail elements from each comic are carefully selected to build a story around each hero or villain beingspotlighted. Each element is meticulously cut to create a “comic book cover” affect when being viewed. Fantastic Four – beautiful artwork. This piece spans the Fantastic Four timeline from the 60s to the more current issues including incredible art from John Byrne, George Perez, John Buscema and many others that you will recognize. Stories from Stan Lee and Tom DeFalco among others. You will see all the major villains and team members from Dr. Doom, Galactus and apprearances by Silver Surfer, She-Hulk and many others. No matter where you look, you will find something new each time and bring back those memories of when you saw that first X-Men movie or read that first comic. This is an incredible way to display all of the heroes and villains that we grew to love. There are over 200 comic character and visuals cut to make this piece with over 200 hours by the artist to select, curate and create the piece. The framed dimensions are 35 3/4 x 43 3/4. The frame is a black wood grain with black suede matte. It is framed with the best museum quality non-reflective UV protected acrylic that money can buy. The acrylic is lighter and won’t crack. A far better option than glass. You can see from the photos how float mount as well as the corners and close up of the frame.
