Creality Ender 3 V2 Custom 3D PrinterRebuilt and Customized Refurbished and Customized Creality Ender 3 V2 3D Printer. Unit was completely disassembled, cleaned, with each part examined and replace if found worn, then the unit was reassembled under exacting standards with a host of custom and enhanced parts. The unit was then tested, calibrated, and then tested again to verify best operation. During assembly, all parts were verified to be mounted square and all bolts were properly torqued. List of Modifications:1. Control board (Creality V4.2.7 Silent Motherboard) loaded with Professional Firmware Austral Spring Version 2022100(Marlin 2.1.X) firmware.2. Extruder replaced with Titan Style Geared Extruder with brass inlet.3. 3D Touch Auto Leveling system added to unit.4. Hotend nozzle replaced with Micro Swiss Plated Brass nozzle.5. Stock filament guide tubing replaced with Capricorn Bowden PTFE Tubing.6. Stock Fan Duct replaced with 300 degree airflow design fan duct.7. Filament Sensor added to unit.8. Dual Z-Axis Stepper Motors and Screw System installed.9. Z-Axis Frame Brace added to unit.10. Stocked Spool holder replaced by Roller style spool holder with built in filament scale connected to Raspberry Pi/OctoPrint system.11. Auto Off switch system with On-Off-Auto front power switch added to unit.12. Tool Divider added to Storage Drawer.13. Bubble Level to verify printer is setting level.14. Replaced Z-Axis Stepper Motor Mounts and couplings for better Z-Axis operation.15. Blue V-Slot Covers installed.16. Print Bed Die Springs and adjustment wheels replaced with firmer units.17. Custom Cable Guides for X-Axis cartage and Hot End cables.18. Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4 GB with OctoPrint Command and Control software loaded installedin custom Control Display case. Includes 5 MP Camera, Mount, and ring lighting. Calibration: A three step calibration process was used to calibrate the Ender 3 V2. First a 20 mm cube is printed with the default Steps per mm settings. The measured dimensions of the cube are entered in to a spreadsheet which computes a set of trial Steps per mm settings. Then a 100 mm Calibration model is printed. Again, the measured dimensions are entered in to the spreadsheet which computes a refined set of Steps per mm settings. A third 100 mm Calibration model is printed and measured to verify the settings. Using Inland PLA+ Filament printed at 210º C and bed surface temp of 50º C.X-Axis 100 mm printed at 100.00 mmY-Axis 100 mm printed at 100.07 mmZ-Axis 100 mm printed at 100.09 mm Extruder: A run of 100 mm of filament used 100 mm of filament. Testing: Initial testing was performed to verified correct operation of all there axis stepper motors, end stops, extruder, Auto Off switch system, cooling fans, filament sensor, and filament scale. Then the unit was calibrated. After calibration, the unit was tested for 50 hours of operation printing multiple patterns from both the MicroSD Card and Octoprint Control system to verify correct operation. OctoPrint Command and Control System: By using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B dedicated computer connected to your 3D Printer by a USB Cable, the OctoPrint system provides a web page interface to your printer. Through this interface, you can upload print files, start and stop print operations, verify printer operation, and provide status information including video. This greatly simplifies the control and operation of your 3D Printer. The OctoPrint System includes: • Dedicated Computer with case, power supply, and all interface cables mounted to the 3D Printer. • All required software including the Lunix Operating System and OctoPrint system with required plugins and extensions. • Filament Spool Scale and roller. • 5MP Video Camera with case and mount. • Print Bed Lighting with Switch. • OctoEverywhere Internet Portal (Free Version). • Connected to your Home or Office WiFi network. • Sync with your installation of Cura Slicing Software installed on your personal computer.
