Since we hit £90,261, peeps we’ll have some special guests from Kilforth join us in the game too… For the first time, you will now be able to play the Historic Epic Battle System (HEBS) with up to 4 players providing you have more than one base set! There are normally only two leaders in each HEBS game, but the additional two bonus leaders included with every copy of 1815, Scum of the Earth – Prussian Field Marshal Blücher and French Marshal Ney – allow you to play with 3-4 players when using two core games. With two core games you will battle over 6 Frontiers, side by side with an ally – you can pass troops to each other via your Reserves, as well as being able to target either of your foes with events and abilities. You can also play multiplayer by using and/or mixing 1815, Scum of the Earth with other previous HEBS games too. So if you want to, for example, pit Napoleon’s armies of 1815, Scum of the Earth against the Ottomans of 1565, St. Elmo’s Pay, now’s your chance! In 1815, Scum of the Earth, each player, as either the Duke of Wellington or Napoleon (and/or Blücher and Michel Ney), musters troops and resources to overcome the various obstacles in their path before their armies clash in an epic battle over three farms forward of the ridge at Waterloo: Hougoumont, La Haye Sainte, and Papelotte. The game and all the cards contained in it are fully playable solo, and an ,AI, Foe with varying levels of difficulty for the enemy player has been developed in partnership with an expert team of solo players from the One Player Guild on boardgamegeek led by the great Paul Ibbs. With two core sets you can now play solo against two Foes simultaneously, each of varying difficulty if you so choose! Or reverse the situation and play as Marshal Ney and Napoleon against only Wellington, for example. Play units, characters, tactics, attachments, and events, all based on the real figures, weapons, and occurrences that resulted in Napoleon’s downfall.  Whilst racing each other to deploy the best army, players must also defeat a variety of historical obstacles that their respective leaders had to conquer on their way to Ligny, Quatre Bras, and Waterloo. Master Napoleon’s bloodless revolution in Paris; experience Old Nosey’s (Wellington’s) marshaling of the Allied forces; not to mention Wellington’s partaking in the Duchess of Richmond’s glamorous ball in Brussels on the night before the bloodbath of Waterloo commenced.
